An Improved FFIP Method Based on Mathematical Logic and SysML

In recent years, the model-based safety analysis (MBSA) has been developing continuously. The Functional Failure Identification and Propagation (FFIP) method is a graphics processing technology which supports of fault propagation paths before making costly design commitments. However, traditional FFIP some deficiencies. this paper, we extend functional failure logic (FFL) in introduce concept deviation. So, can be used to analyze process systems make logical easier. Based on extended FFL, present new overview FFIP. improved by using mathematical Systems Modeling Language (SysML). standard expression FFL realized, conducive subsequent modeling modification. Additionally, use improve state machine diagram (SMD) SysML. Finally, system Simulink for simulation. tree generated according simulation results, minimum cut set calculated, key parts are obtained.
